Learning Pods & Microschool Programs
We offer engaging learning alternatives for North Idaho homeschooling families! We have several small-group learning pods, including our Aviators Microschool Program, Gliders Afternoon Mini-Pods, & Jetsetters Half-Day Kindergarten! We also have Friday Flyers Enrichment & afterschool/aftercare options, too!
We offer core academics (Math & Orton-Gillingham-based Reading/Writing/Spelling) and project-based learning through art, STEM, and collaborative projects. We also incorporate social-emotional learning (SEL) with a focus on emotional wisdom!
Academic Tutoring & Intervention
In addition to our microschool programs and small-group pods, we also offer both Individualized 1:1 Tutoring and ‘Buddy’ Tutoring (sessions with a similar-level learning partner). We also offer a virtual option, Online Reading Intervention, in collaboration with our preferred digital program, Koalago Playground!
All lessons are multisensory and taught using multiple modalities: visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic (movement-based). Sessions are targeted to the learner and individualized to their unique abilities, strengths, and needs, as determined through our intake assessment.
Enrichment & Aftercare
If you’re looking to supplement your child’s education with an additional learning day, we offer our Friday Adventure Club, which provides a day full of creativity, outdoor play, and hands-on learning weekly (or as needed, through our drop-in options!)
We also provide Extended Care + Afterschool Care! Designed around traditional school hours, our program runs 3:45-5:30PM and provides an enriching and fun option for students needing somewhere to go after class, or for our Soaring Learners students in need of more play and learning time before pick-up!

Every child is unique, and so are our lessons! Each session is customized for our learner’s strengths, goals, and needs while focusing on essential literacy and numeracy skills. As the student progresses, our approach adapts, ensuring that each session builds on the last for maximum impact.

Our Lessons Are Orton-Gillingham Based
We harness the power of the Orton-Gillingham method, a multisensory approach that incorporates all of the learning systems: visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic! This method is not only thoroughly researched and highly effective for students of all ages, it also helps to support diverse learners, ensuring ALL students get a comprehensive, researched-based, and engaging education.
